As Chairman of an Arbitral Tribunal, Christian Aschauer presides over three-member tribunals in complex international disputes, ensuring procedural efficiency and impartiality throughout all stages of the proceedings.

He is also available for appointment as Sole Arbitrator as well as Co-Arbitrator in international commercial disputes.

Depending on availability, he accepts appointments as Emergency Arbitrator to address requests for interim relief prior to the constitution of the arbitral tribunal.

His practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in engineering, construction, post-M&A, defence, and pharma.

In addition to arbitral appointments, expert opinions on Austrian and international arbitration law are provided, including in the context of setting-aside and enforcement proceedings.

Christian Aschauer advises and represents private clients in succession proceedings, including matters relating to last wills, testaments, and the administration of estates.
